This year the rains are far to late and way to little. It’s a pity for our ‘greening the yard’ project, but we don’t have to live of the lands. Our neighbour Mme Binkie really needs her harvest for food, and it doesn’t look promising at all.
All there is up till now are some beans, a few butternuts, and a bit of morogo (any green leaves that are edible). The maize, sorghum and sugarcane just won’t grow at all.
