D-Guests: Bavo & Dineke
February 4 Bavo & Dineke arrived, already fairly used to our summer weather cause they had been traveling all over Namibia for 2 weeks. Though they do look a bit exhausted after a little Sunday braai thingy with some of our Dutch Batswana friends...
Good for us! They insist on doing some work at the new house & garden, so now we have a great buffet table right underneath the kitchen window.
The last thing we need is a drunk vervet monkey infested garden, so we try to remove the fermenting marulas as quickly as possible.
No squirrel, monkey and etcetera goes unnoticed.
First official duty: going to a wedding Saturday afternoon.
The bride & groom are welcomed by their dancing bride’s maids and best men.
Amazing hairstyles! And an equally amazing ability to dance and keep smiling in those outfits during the heat of the day.
You can take pictures now.
The best position for Maud’s smashed ribs is in a hammock with some pillows and a puppy for equilibrium. Louis and Lisa are expert hammock swingers by now!
